It's a Great Day..... in Dominica!

Hi Everyone,

Hope your day is off to a Great start!

This fall I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to return to my homeland, where I was raised and grew to know LOVE, the beautiful island of DOMINICA, Nature island of the Caribbean.

This gem of an island was celebrating its 40th year of Independence. It was reunion year of thanksgiving and celebration, not only focused on its Independence but also the success of the rebuilding efforts on the island since it was devastated by Hurricane Maria the year before.

I was thankful to have the opportunity to bring my family not only to experience the celebration of our Dominican culture and heritage, but also to give back to the kids on the island. We got the opportunity to perform readings of our book at 2 schools on the island: Convent Prep - (my Preparatory School Alma Mater) and the Roseau Primary School.

It was a wonderful and touching experience for us to share the message of self confidence and positivity with the kids and teachers.
